How recent must tests be pre-op?

I have had a lot of tests done in the past 3 years and wonder if I will need to repeat them. Mostly the sleep lab. I had one 2 years ago, is that too long to use? Also, I have been treated for some comorbidities through my PCP who is giving me the referrel. Do all tests need to be repeated? Thanks
