Is there any way around an exclusion like this?

My husband is a contractor for our local cable company and since this position doesn't come with insurance, he is looking into getting covered through his supervisor's policy. Tonight, I went online to see if I could find something since I had never heard of it before (It's Continental General) and this is what it said under the exclusions and limitations category: NO benefits will be paid for charges: For Treatment of obesity, morbid obesity or for weight reduction purposes---is there any way at all around something like this??
