How do I decided which type of surgery is best for me?

I had wls 09/1995. For the better part of the past 6 years I throw up after every meal. (I had a VRG) I am ready to have surgery again. I need that "ring" removed, as that is the source of all my throwing up. I cannont chew food small enough or I can't seem to eat slow enough to keep it down. My life is miserable because of it. The DS is more appealing to me than the RNY. I have found in my research that the surgeons either do one or the other, so like in any business they are going to say that their product (surgery type) is best. I would like to hear from post op patient from both types of surgery. Thank God insurance is not going to be a problem. I am a full time student and will be waiting until summer for surgery, so I have some time to "wiegh" the facts. (punn intended :) )
