Post-Op are we allowed slimfast bars or drinks?

Sorry if this may seem like a stupid question..are slimfast products allowed post-op? I can't remember if they have sugar in them or not. I haven't had the surgery yet (keep fingers crossed for approval from Ins.) and was also wondering as long as something is sugar-free you can eat or drink it..is that right? So, you can have sugar free ice cream? I'm especailly concerned about the slimfast because I HATE eating breakfast and rely on breakfast bars..quick and easy. Thanks!
