Has anyone been approved for the GR-DS by Blue Cross?

It's my understanding from the doctor's office that although Blue Cross has previously approved this surgery [the GR-DS] they are no longer doing so and they are categorically denying the surgery because it's "investigatory" - even though it's been done over 20 years - with the current procedures of elongating the common channel which had corrected the previous problems. I have been told that if I can show them others who have been approved, then they would review my application.
