Is there a waiting period for BCBS?

MY INSURANCE WILL GO IN EFFECT THE END OF THE MONTH, I HAVE BCBS OF ALABAMA PREFERRED CARE. I ALREADY MADE AN APPOINTMENT WITH A SURGEON FOR AUGUST 6TH AND I AM HOPING THAT EVERYTHING GOES WELL.. IS THERE A WAITING PERIOD ON THIS TYPE OF INSURANCE,EMAIL [email protected]
