Has anyone ever had to be fed by tube to their stomach?

I had a lap RNY on 6-29-2000. I have lost 143 lbs, 353 to 210 lbs. My surgeon told me that my weight loss needs to taper off. If it does not taper off in two weeks, he is may insert a feeding tube into my stomach for up to 2 months to get my weight stabilized. Has any one else been through this?
