Post-TT skin sensitivity? HELP!!!
I had my TT a month ago and for the last 2 weeks, the skin on my stomach above my wound (which isn't healing!)has been excessively sensitive. Like little stinging knives in a band across the front. It hurts if AIR touches it, let alone anything else! Strangely enough, it hurts the most when I first undress and expose it to air and hurts BADLY for some time. Changing my dressings, if the nurse's pinky barely grazes the skin, I'm practically off the table and crying. Theories have been yeast, nerves healing underneath and overstimulating, shingles, reaction to things put on my stomach, no one seems to really know. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? What is it? What can I do for it? Any possibilities would be VERY appreciated!!!
