Can the band slip with physical exertion?

I think the lap bad is my choice for wls, but have heard that it can move or slip if the "bandster" exerts him or herself physically. In my job, I often have to lift about 50lb sacks, and deal with injured large animals, which often involves having to lift, push, pull, etc. Has anyone had a problem with the band migrating, slipping?
