Why am I losing weight so slowwwww?
I am four weeks out today and have only lost 15 lbs. I know I am a light weight, starting at 227 and 5 feet tall, but this is so slow. I feel like I am having to work my butt off for every pound just like before surgery when ever I was on a diet. My surgeon has us eat three 4oz meals a day, with protein being first chose. He doesn't want us using protein drinks, wants the protein from food. I am getting in 80oz of water a day, and joined the gym last week, so am working out. I lost two pounds this week and two and a half pounds last week, and that is with exercise. Am I ever going to reach goal at this rate? Any suggestions on how to speed things up?
