Has any had pain in their middle back near spine when eating soft foods?

I am 4 wks out and when I eat anything that is not liquid I get a pain in my back like a knife. I do not eat fast and chew even with it being blended. I have an appointment with my surgeon on Thursday for X-rays but wanted your input. Thanks!
