Anyone diagnosed with low blood sugar a year or more after surgery?

I am nearly 15 months post op, down 130# and I have never been diagnosed with any type of Diabetes. I weigh 154# and my surgeon and PCP both agree that I should not go any lower. Now I am being tested for low blood sugar. The principal of my school had to call 911 and the paramedics came and got me because of slurred speech, confusion and I staggered when I walked. On a lighter note the last time the paramedics came to get me the paramedics were discussing the best way to get a 300# person into the ambulance and how many people it would take to do it. At least this time that was not a topic of conversation. How do you deal with it? I am very interested in knowing because this is so totally new to me. I didn't think Diabetes would be a problem after my surgery. Thanks a million!! Gail Brown
