18 months after RNY numbness in right side began, is it related?

For about two weeks now I have numbness and tingling on right side of face, head, arm, torso, buttock, leg, and foot that comes and goes and varies in severity. Lower leg from knee to ankle is devoid of feeling for over a month. Recent MRI and blood tests reveal no abnormalities.My coordination is not affected. PCP suggests waiting another month before pursuing this further. Could this be related to my RNY (18 months post-op) or to vitamin or mineral deficiency? I usually eat high protein, low carb foods and drink diet sodas. I have neglected my multi-vitamins recently but started taking Seasilver about a week ago. Notice no difference in symptoms.
