Ever heard of suturing stomach to abdominal wall with radiopaque tag
One surgeon I interviewed explained that he sutures the distal portion of the stomach to the abdominal wall with a radiopaque tag so that the blind portion of the stomach can be easily accessed if it needs to be scoped in the future. Has anyone else heard of this? Are there disadvantages?
