taking a long time to heal

Had surgery on 9/30. Most of incision has seemed to heal. In the middle of scar it starts to scab then something will touch it ( gauze ) then it peels off scab, and I have to start from scratch, with clear puss coming out. For get wearing cloths over it. Is there anything I can do to move things along?
