surgery coming up fast

My surgery is coming up fast (Oct 7th) and I'm starting to really wonder if I'm doing the right thing. I have two boys 10 & 7 and the thought of possibly leaving them without a mother kills me. I'm 5'4 and 256lbs. Is there anyone out there like me with kids. Did you talk to your kids? I really need some encouragement.
