PCOS help needed

Hello, everyone. I was hoping some of you could help me locate a doctor in Staten Island or the NYC area that is informed and aggressive with treating PCOS. I was DX with PCOS when I was 12, and here I am 13 years later with no help or meds :( The symptoms are getting worse (I've had one period in 5 months). I would prefer a GYN, since I really like my family doc now (she's just not "in the know" about PCOS). I'm tired of people telling me "just go on the pill". I need aggressive treatment ASAP. Thanks so much. p.s...I've tried every search engine, and the only docs are in Manhattan with very busy offices.
