Will a eating disorder in your past prevent or delay insurance approval?

I just faxed the last of my records to my surgeon and in doing so was reading over them. In one medical record the doctor stated I had an eating disorder which I did at that time. i am a diabetic and if you let your sugar run high it will assit you in loosing weight. However I no longer do that and was in counseling for a while and it has been 4 years since then. Do you think this will make the insurance deny this surgery and or do you think it will prompt more requirments from me before I can be approved? Thank you
