Anyone with BC/BS Federal have post-op complications?

I have BC/BS Federal Insurance in Alabama. They didn't require preapproval and I am supposed to pay 10% of my surgery. But I had complications post-surgery (a leak) and had to have a second surgery and a 10 day hospital stay. Would this be covered under the $100 hospital deductible or am I going to be expected to pay 10% of everything? The bill came to $67,500 for the hospital alone.
