I have more Acne..I drink 1 gallon water a day...why do I have more now

My surgeon claims that there is no relation between the surgery and acne but something is differrent because I didn't have much pre-op and post-op I am getting it regularly on my face and back. I am drinking a minimum of 1 gal. of water per day. What is going on?
