I am looking for opinions about how much intestine I should have bypassed

My Dr. Does open rny and gives the patient the choice of proximal, medial or distal bypass with the pouch being the size of a golf ball. My question is..... I am 5'3 1/2 and weigh 250 lbs., I have about 120 lbs that I would like to lose and am curious to which length everyone thinks I should have? I welcome all opinions and thoughts. My surgery is 4/11/02.
