Has anyone with1 kidney ever had WLS? Will this hinder me?

Can anyone give me any insight? I was born with one kidney and have never had problems with it in the past. I have my first meeting with the surgeon in a couple weeks and am nervous that this may hinder my chances of approval. Does anyone have a single kidney and had surgery? If so, I would love to hear from you! Thanks! Tracy
