Is it true that in general, obese people are hot and skinny people are cold?

My best friend is skinny, and she is always cold. I'm obese, and I am always hot. Trust me... you don't wanna be in the car with us when the weather changes... she cranks the heat, which drives me crazy, so I open the window to cool off... this drives her crazy, so she turns the heat up more, and I roll the window down more. People crack up at us when we are in the car together, but trust me... it does get to be an issue when it is overly hot or cold outside. Will this change for me as I lose weight?
