Has anyone had to use their c-pap during surgery?

My surgeon says I need my c-pap machine during surgery. I was so excited about getting my date,I didn't get to ask her about using it during surgery.So I guess I want to know don't they need me on oxygen during surgery? I know this may be a dumb ? but I am not thinking clearly .It just sounded wierd to me. Any help would be great. Thanks Sue
