Why does (VBG) appear next to my surgery?

I have never once Specified VBG, and I do not know how to get rid of it. I think I am going to have either Lap, or Open RNY with Dr. Thomas Helling. I do not want the VBG, so if someone could tell me how to get that off of there I would greatly appreciate it.
