Insurance Approved, but now group is no longer doing

My lap RNY was approved by PacifiCare in March, and I have/had a surgical date set for May 30th with Dr. Ho of Valley Surgical Specialists. Someone near and dear to me also had approval and a date at St. Agnes in Fresno, but now there are some "issues" with PacifiCare HMO and St. Agnes, and his surgery has been cancelled! The Surgical Group has decided not to do any "elective" procedures in April, and maybe not until or after May. So...what do we do?
