Can I have a second surgery?

I had a banded gastroplasty in 1990; a "bypass" of that in 1993 because of severe scar tissue; and now weigh 98 pounds more than I did the first time around (327 pounds). I would like to have a laproscopic surgery, and was wondering whether anyone else out there has ever been in the same position. Thank you.
