I am 7 months postop RNY, had hysterectomy having problems eating

I am 7 months post RNY, have lost 108 pounds, overall doing very well. Had to have total hysterectomy five days ago and have had problems eating and drinking since. Not tolerating foods well at all, cause pain and nausea, liquids just a little better. Is this typical? This was done as an open procedure and was told that the uterus had adhered to the bowel. Could this be why? Thanks Shannon
