Has anyone had thigh cramps? Did you find later that you had blood clots?

I recently read a web page of a member that has passed. Prior to her surgery she had what she describe as "cramps from hell" in her thighs. It turned out that she had blood clots in both thighs and had to have them removed. I have several times experienced these cramps. I usally can take potassium and the stop. Has anyone else had these. I am kind of concerned that I may have them.
