Has anyone stopped losing weight for a long while and then restarted it again?

Hi- Im 18 months post-op. For varying reasons I did not do all of the optimal post-op program that is required to lose the maximum amount of weight within the first year. I started at 285, lost 85 within the first year, and have not budged for months (Im 18 months post-op). Is this the end for me? Has anyone had the experience of not losing for a very long time (not a simple week or month plateau) & then was able to restart the weight loss again and actually got to goal (I need another 50 lbs min. to go). I am so frustrated and I need to know if anyone has been able to "correct" the mistakes of the past and begin losing again after such a long time.Ha s anyone been able to do this, & if so, can you share your strategies? How long does it take to get the ball rolling again, & when it starts, what is a reasonable expectation for rate of weight loss per week/ month? I realise this will vary a lot. My rny was Nov 2003. Thanks in advice for any advice.
