Needsurgeon in the Southern California region for leg liposuction

After losing over 260 lbs. I still have my freakishly large, porch pillar legs which have been diagnosed as lipedema combined with lymphedema. I have been doing a lot of research on the subject and am desperately looking into treatment options. My primary care MD has confessed he knows little to nothing about the subject and repeated requests to my medical group for a referral to someone who might be able to help have been of no benefit. Does anyone in the WLS community out there know of a good doctor who has treated legs with lipedema/lymphedema? My genius of a plastic surgeon who did amazing work on my stomach and arms does no lipo work from the knees down, doesn't recommend surgical intervention and doesn't even know who to refer me to. It seems legs like these are rare and treatment for them even rarer. But since the condition was often confused with or masked by morbid obesity and with the godsend of WLS on the upswing I thought there might be better informed MD's but am very hard pressed to find one. Please help!
