Anyone else have food cake on tongue?

I am 5 months pos op and down 90 lbs. I am doing great most of the time have never dumped on anything or gotten sick, the only thing I have a problem with and it sounds so minor but it gets on my nerves and that is food sticking or caking on my tongue. Yes I brush my teeth and tongue about 3 times a day.It does not matter what I eat it still does even beef jerky. anyone else had this problem and what is causing it I never had this problem before surgery..
