Can I go deer hunting so soon after surgery?

I found out earlier this week that I was approved for the surgery and got a surgery date. It is the week before I am supposed to be going deer hunting. My surgery would be on Tuesday. If everything goes okay, and I take it easy would it be possible for me to go hunting on Saturday? I am not worried about running through the woods because I go with a large group and could just sit on stand, but I am worried about the cold, and actually firing the gun. Anyone that might have had this experiece please let me know.
