What do I do?? I have to stop smoking before surgery.

I found out yesterday that I was approved. Today the surgeons nurse called and wanted to schedule the surgery for Oct. 8. But we could not because I have not quit smoking yet, and they require you to be tobacco free for at least eight weeks. So now we scheduled the surgery for November, but that means I must quit smoking Monday! My husband and I currently live with my parents, due to my father having a heart attack earlier this year, and they both smoke. None of us smoke in the house only outside in the garage. Any advice on how to make quitting any easier? I started Zyban up today, and we cannot chew gum at work, so could use any advice!!
