How long after giving birth can you have this surgery?

i had my 3rd and final child on mother's day, 5/11/03. Is there a time frame after giving birth that you have to weight to be able to have this surgery like 6 months or a year? I have my first appt. on 9/23/03 w/ my surgeon and i am nervous that i won't be able to have it done because i had a baby in May.
