I have just been told that I tested positive for H-Pylori. They are treating me now.

My problem is, is that my surgery is a week from tomorrow. I called my surgeon and they told me that I will still have surgery as planned. As I am looking through the Q&A database, it tells me different. Anyone else been diagnosed with this and still gone through surgery?
