Gnawing feeling in Lower Stomach

I am 4 weeks post-op from an open RNY and I have a constant gnawing feeling in my lower stomach. It's like constant hunger pains, even after eating. I had this same feeling the two times I was pregnant (there is no chance of being pregnant now). I am taking a daily dose of Prevacid. Any suggestions on what could be causing this? Thanks. Janie
