Will antidepresants really help me?

I just posted a response to the other question on here, but really my question is....will antidepresants really help me with this problem. I am very concerned, and I have been having lots of problems post op. I had surgery 4-10-01 and now experiance extreeme body pain, this PMDD and I just feel out of control. Any suggestions are really really needed. Thank you
