Any info re: teen canidates for Gastric Bypass Surgery and Medical?

I have had the surgery 2+ yrs ago and it was successful. I have a young teen friend who may qualify for the surgery and I am looking for info and direction for her in hopes of educating her and her family regarding the pros and cons of this surgery for her. At this point she is on Medical, also. Any specialist in this age group she can speak to or email? Thank you.
