I have looked in the library, but got very confused, so here it is.

I have a tender bulge just to the right of my incision, and will be going to my PCP today to check if it's a hernia. I am 7 1/2 months out and -98 pounds. I have heard that often when you have a hernia repair they will do a tummy tuck at the same time. Is this true? Also, I have a friend that had both procedures one 3 years ago, and she said she would NOT do it again becaise the TT left a horrible scar, and the pain was much worse then open RNY. Can anyone help me out here? Thanks.
