I have been getting my copies of what the bills were for my surgery.

This is kind of odd. My insurance company pre-approved the surgery, but on some the bills that are being sent through are on "hold" pending approval. Like say for instance, one came from my surgeon that I'm assuming was for his services performed on the day of my surgery; insurance is holding it pending approval. Well didnt they already approve this? I'm confused. Any assistance?
