Any slow losers out there who had surgery July 2002?

I had surgery July 29, 2002 and have only lost 80 pounds. For the past month, the scales haven't moved at all. I am trying all the things that I read on here, but like most people I'm terrified I won't lose any more. Has anyone else experienced very slow loss? I need to lose about 35 more pounds to get to my doctor's goal weight and 40 to get to my own goal weight.
