Can you please tell me what to expect attached to me after open DS.

I am having an open DS in 2 weeks. Has anyone had Dr. Cliff Deveny at OHSU in Portland, Oregon? What do you think of him? He is cheif of surgery there. He has a wonderful bed side manner in his office so far. Does he have you come out with ng tubes, tubes out of stomach, foley. He gives epidural (not in the spine) for pain controll. Please tell me more. Thanks
