wandering how long i have to wait to get rid of h.pilory?

my surgery was postponed until i get rid of h.pylori, my dr says that i take 2 weeks of antibiotics, also i have to see a gastroenterologist, then it will take a month before they test my blood again, i will like to know if my surgery approval will be affected if i don't have surgery on this month..can anyone help me, also i would like to know if anyone had that same problem ?...thank you in advance.
