How Long Before I Get A Surgery Date After First Consult?

Just wondering if everyting goes right with approvals,( insurance and test) how much time on average does it take from your first consult to an actual surgery date? I'm 5'3 & 298lbs, I live in southern N.J, and my first consult is with doctor Slotman on the 26th of Nov. I made this app. 5 month ago and wanted to know will it take this much time to get a date for surgery?
