Will I ever be able to eat these again?
I am very aware that biscuits and bread were the two main problems for me pre-op. I could care less about sweets- I crave those carbs! I am now shy of 4 weeks post-op and am curious if I will ever be able to eat small amounts of a biscuit, a dinner roll or bread. I understand that the doughieness of it can cause it to sit in our pouch like a rock and cause alot of pain. Will it always be this way or it just while we are healing? I've been good- I've only taken a nibble from a HARD biscuit once. I can't see myself eating bread more than twice a week later down the road, so its not that I feel I will revert to my old habits. I would just like to know that I COULD eat half of a biscuit some day....If you are able to eat breads now, how long before you were able to without problems? Thanks for any responses!
