I'm 2 weeks post-op LAP RNY. How soon can I lift weights?
My surgeon's instructions were to rest for the first few days post-op, then there were no restrictions, just do whatever felt good. I was going to go back to my weight-lifting class (light weights) this week, but some of the other posts I've read make me think I'm going back too soon. How soon after LAP can I exercise? I'm already walking 3-4 miles a day since day 5. How soon can I start doing abdominal exercises (crunches, etc)? Thanks for all of your input! There is a lot of confusing/conflicting information here! :-)
