I live in Silver Spring, Maryland and I have BCBS individual plan.

I found out on Monday that I have been denied surgery because of an exclusion in my policy. Can anyone suggest another insurance that covers the open RNY in Maryland? I got my policy during open enrollment season since I couldn't get coverage because of my diabetes. Also I am self-employed. Will be grateful for any suggestions. Thanks. Khadija.
