When can I safely mow the lawn??

I am 9 weeks post-op Lap RNY (down 40 pounds! Woo-hoo!) and I share the lawnmowing duties with my wonderful roommate. I don't want to hurt myself by mowing if it's too early. Could I safely mow my relatively small yard without too much danger??
