Has anyone ever woken up gaging on stomach contents?

In one day I 2 eposides of vomiting with lunch and dinner this was the first time since surgery 2/15/02. I went to sleep that night without any problems however around 4:45am I woke up gaging and cough something green and sour my throat was burning.
